MUSIC+ART Open House

Program Description
The MUSIC + ART Open House Program gives members the opportunity to present their music as part of a regular monthly open house at the Zhou B. Center. The Center, featuring galleries and artist studios, and the home of the Chicago Composers Forum office, is located in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. This monthly non-adjudicated event is open to all composer members and all styles of original music, either live or recorded. Members must provide their own performers and/or sound playback system (although an in-house sound system may be available at some point in the future).

The MUSIC + ART Open House is an ideal opportunity for individual or groups of composers to showcase and market their music to a receptive audience in a casual environment. Composers must be on hand to discuss their music and may distribute business cards, brochures or other literature as well as sell recordings of their music.

Open house events occur every third Friday of the month and as otherwise announced beginning with November 18, 2005. To schedule a MUSIC + ART open house performance contact Christopher Preissing. Please note that there is no piano available at the Zhou B. Center
