An ongoing community outreach program hosted the Chicago Composers Forum, Member Music Concerts (MMC) provide opportunities for its members to coordinate new music events to the public. The Chicago Composers Forum collaborates with their members to produce concerts and events at locations throughout the Chicagoland area. MMC events support the mission of CCF by featuring music by CCF members, and they are presented at community venues which may include the Zhou B. Center, Ukranian Institute of Modern Art, and the North Lakeside Cultural Center.

To initiate a MMC event, members should contact Christopher Preissing by sending an email to staff@chicagocomposers.org with a brief project overview. Chris will work with you to develop a proposal to the CCF board of directors. Some things to consider when developing an event might include:

An overview of the event including the type of support sought from CCF

Event budget

Venue information

Brief marketing strategy

If applicable, a call for scores
