The Concert Exchange Program is a new program whose goal is to foster partnerships between Chicago Composers Forum and other regional composer or arts organizations. For each Concert Exchange, the two collaborating organizations contribute half of a concert which is performed in each host organization's city. Each performance may also feature a visiting composer from the other partnering organization. The program provides an opportunity for composers to have a performance outside their home city. It also provides an opportunity for audiences to hear new music by composers from another part of the country.

The first Concert Exchange will take place with the Birmingham Art Music Alliance. For this program three to four pieces will be selected for performance on June 2, 2007 by Ensemble Dal Niente with a second performance on June 3, 2007 by the Birmingham Art Music Alliance in Birmingham, Alabama.
